Guided tour of the collections in An Fasagh in the Highland Folk Museum, Newtonmore. ‘Am Fasgadh’ is the Museum’s collection facility incorporating collections storage and conservation; resources including collections study and research library; administration including offices and meeting spaces. Its primary function is to house the Museum’s core collections numbering approx. 12,000 items. Tours will take you around the main collection store, whilst access to other parts of the building is by appointment.

Journal Through Time

Wick Library. For children 8-10 years old.

Journal through time, starting at the modern day we shall try and see what the future holds and how writing and language has changed. There will be a chance to make your own fonts and even a language for the future, possibly space, maybe even time? You will get to make your own entries about the future - how it could change and how we might communicate and socialise.Calling all master builders! Bettyhill library wants you! Just bring your imagination, we supply the bricks.Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.This event is free of charge but donations are welcome.
